Located on France’s Côte d’Azur, Villa Le Trident is a Modernist villa constructed in 1926 by the American architect Barry Dierks. It sits on a promontory in Théoule-sur-Mer, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
In a recent renovation, the German agency 4a Architekten has added contemporary features to bring this famous residence up to date. The remarkable exterior architecture with its white surface has been carefully restored. The elegant, light-filled interior has been enhanced with a wood floor of white oak. White fittings add to the bright and peaceful atmosphere. The interior design also features a central suspended Gyrofocus fireplace and a custom bookcase created by the architecture studio.
