Overlooking the Mediterranean from its vantage point on the coast of Corsica, this stunning minimalist bungalow was designed by the architect Vincent Coste in association with Bruno Flechet. In the main room of the house hangs a suspended, pivoting, pure white Gyrofocus fireplace, illuminating the space like a sculpture of light. With a private beach and a small boat harbour, Villa H2 was conceived to blend into the existing landscape and vegetation of this protected area. To achieve this harmony with the environment, the house is clad in red cedar and topped with a green roof, which serves to filter the strong sunlight.
