Architecture and design come together to give this house a unique contemporary style. Located on the beachfront near Clovelly in Australia, the house is composed of four modular spaces connected to each other by glassed-in areas that allow captivating views of the ocean. Designed to resist the vagaries of the weather, the house is constructed from robust materials such as zinc, oak and stone; materials that are equally inspired by the natural beauty of the idyllic setting. In the same spirit, the architect selected a steel Paxfocus fireplace to warm the main living space. Suspended against a stone wall, the Focus fireplace is in perfect harmony with the home’s interior and exterior design.
