The studio Atelier Oslo had to overcome the challenges imposed by nature to design this vacation home on a forested hill overlooking Steinsfjorden Lake in Norway. The architects constructed a cabin consisting of several levels that follow the terrain of the steep slope to offer a stupendous view of the water. The interior is a large open space, with a central, glass-panelled Meijifocus fireplace in the centre of the cabin, allowing its occupants to enjoy a view of the fire no matter where they are.
