Robert Puksand, from the architecture and interior design firm Gray Puksand, designed this contemporary house for his family. Located in Brighton, a coastal suburb of Melbourne in Australia, the house has a truly originally decor that brings into play geometric shapes and bright colours. In keeping with this style, the living room features a suspended, pivoting Bathyscafocus fireplace as the central element of the space. This contemporary fireplace in black steel with its hearth accessed by a porthole provides contrast for the colourful setting and echoes the black frames of the patio doors.
